Old Gold Exchange Policy

(Applicable for instore transactions)

Exchange/Buy-back of Jewellery sold by Reliance Jewels

Jewellery sold by Reliance Jewels can be exchanged/bought back by Reliance Jewels subject to the below conditions:

1. We shall accept an Exchange/Buyback Jewellery through any Reliance Jewels Exclusive Showroom, as per prevailing terms and condition of the Exchange Policy.
2. Jewellery will be assessed for any damages and/or modifications.
3. During exchange/buyback without the original invoice copy, the jewelry will be sent for verification and the process may take at least 10-15 days.
4. The value gold will be ascertained basis the net weight of Gold and the prevailing gold rate on the date of exchange. Net weight of the gold will be net off weight(s) of any/all pearl, stones, lac, dust and dirt.
5. Diamonds and precious/semi-precious stones will be valued on the basis of the prevailing rates on the date of exchange; in accordance to the exchange policy.
6. Making charges and taxes along with any discount given on the original tax invoice will be deducted while computing the net exchange value as per the prevailing policy.
7. No credit shall be given to the customers for excessive wear and tear, damage or stone defects (cracks, replacements and alterations).
8. Jewelry buyback would entail a specified percentage (%) deduction on the final exchange value as per the prevailing policy.
9. Cash refunds will be processed only for amount less than the government prescribed threshold. Amounts exceeding the limit will be refunded in full by account payee cheque or NEFT/RTGS bearing Customer's name - the process takes at least 7-10 working days.
10. Valuation made by Reliance Jewels shall be final.
11. Silver Jewellery and Silver coins cannot be exchanged/bought back.

Exchange of non-Reliance Jewels Jewellery

Non-Reliance Jewels Gold/Gold Jewellery can be exchanged only across all Reliance Jewels Exclusive Showrooms against new Reliance Jewels jewellery under the "Impure to Pure" Exchange Policy. The detailed 'Impure to Pure' exchange policy is available at specified showrooms for customer's perusal. Further following are the additional conditions:

1. The exchange value shall be ascertained after melting the jewellery offered for exchange.
2. The exchange value of the gold will be determined based on the applicable gold rate on the date of exchange.
3. The credit note against Non Reliance Jewels jewellery can be used only for making fresh purchases at the showroom.
4. No Cash refunds are permissible against exchange of Non Reliance Jewellery.
5. This Policy may be withdrawn or modified without any prior notice.
